Demonstration and procession by the Bajrang Dal

Vaishakh Krushna Ekadashi

Activists of the Bajrang Dal today held a demonstration followed by a march to protest against the Jaipur bomb blasts and the ban on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The march which moved on the Sant Ravidas Marg in the D.D. A Flat Kalkaji area of South Delhi concluded with a shraddhanjali sabha. During this, the Bajrang Dal activists along with the people in the audience offered homage to the 85 people killed in the Jaipur blasts by lighting 85 lamps and maintaining silence for 85 seconds, praying for these departed souls to rest in peace.

Addressing the audience on this occasion, the area’s co-Convenor of the Bajrang Dal, Advocate Shailendra Jaiswal said that due to the jihadi mindset, policy of appeasing Muslims and protection accorded to national traitors like Afzal Guru, people all over the country are feeling insecure.

Expressing his anger against the ban on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, Media Chief Shri. Vinod Bansal questioned why our Government is silent on the move to ban this age old religious pilgrimage. He said that the Government should immediately intervene in this matter to commence the Yatra. He further said that this is in fact an oppression of Hindus all over the world. On the one hand, our secular Government provides all subsidies and facilities for the Haj pilgrimage and on the other, slaps taxes or puts some such obstacles in our religious pilgrimages.

Other participants in this programme included the VHP Vibhag pramukh Shri. Jagdish Chandra, Vibhag mantri Shri. Nand Kishore, Jilhadhyaksha Shri. Nathuram Chopda, Jilha mantri Shri. Mahesh Saxena, Convenor of the Bajrang Dal Shri. Vinod Gupta and Vinod Kaushik, social workers Shri. Panna Lal Garg, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad’s Shri. Kapil Garg and various other honourable personalities.
