Vaishakh Krushna Ekadashi
Mumbai (Maharashtra): Christian missionaries take advantage of gullible, trusting, simple Hindus and convert them by luring them with false promises of solving their worldly problems and curing them of their incurable diseases. (Are powerful Hindu organizations and political parties taking action against such incidents and against those involved? – Editor)
Now the missionaries are even converting educated Hindus in urban areas. Fr. Jim Randarstore will be holding prayer meetings from 1st to 4th June 2008 at Andheri (West). Posters are on display everywhere inviting people for the prayer meeting so that all the problems faced by them in life will be solved by Jesus. (Why has then Jesus not solved so many problems faced by Christians living in Western countries? Why many Christians from western countries are turning to Hinduism? – Editor)
The posters say, in bold letters in Hindi and English, "Nothing is impossible. All of you come and listen to him to know how Jesus can change your life. Prayers will be made for the sick" (If Hindus want to save their brethren from such lures then they should learn about Dharma and even teach the same to others – Editor) Presently instances of conversion of Hindus to Christianity are on rise. Every week, prayer meetings are held by local missionaries, besides which, Jim Radarstore, a foreign missionary will be holding program for conversion under the guise of prayer meetings. The program will be held at The Dior Christian Fellowship Church, 221, Above Rupam Cloth Centre, opposite Post Office, S. V. Road, Andheri (West) at 7.30 p.m. (How long Hindus are going to tolerate such things? – Editor)
