Mumbai (Maharashtra): Notebooks with pictures of ‘Ravana’ were kept on sale at ‘D Mart Shopping Mall’ in Koparkhairane. As few members of Bajarang Dal learnt about the same, they went to the mall and burnt such notebooks.
The notebooks had a picture of an actor playing the role of ‘Ravana’ in the TV serial telecast on ‘Zee’ TV. The members of Bajarang Dal raised slogans of ‘Jai Sree Rama’ and expressed their anger against the management of the mall. The demonstrations were led by Shri. Amit Wankhede with a warning that agitations will be intensified if sale of note books with picture of ‘Ravana’ goes on.
