Delhi : Rashtriya Hindu Andolan to protest against anti-Hindu decisions of Modi Govt

Hindutva-vadis participating in the demonstrations at Jantar-Mantar

New Delhi : Pro-Hindu organizations came together to protest against anti-Hindu decisions taken by Modi Government at Centre and staged demonstrations at Jantar- Mantar under the aegis of Rashtriya Hindu Andolan. Similar demonstrations were staged even in various cities in Maharashtra and Goa. His Holiness Dr. Charudatta Pingale, all-India Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) was present at Jantar-Mantar in Delhi. Members of BJP, RSS, Sriram Sena, ‘Hindu Yuva Manch’ (Assam), ‘Yoga Vedanta Samiti’, ‘Vedic Upasana Peetha’, ‘Rashtriya Gou-sevak Sangh’, Sanatan Sanstha and HJS participated in the demonstrations. Similar demonstrations were held at Nalasopara (Dist. Thane), Akola, Kolhapur in Maharashtra and Mapusa in Goa by pro-Hindu organizations and parties under auspices of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’.  

Demands made by demonstrators with the Government

  1. Under the guide of development, the Government should not use gold donated by devotees in temples.
  2. Programs encouraging obscenity and immorality should be banned to prevent decline of future generations.
  3. ‘Om’ should not be removed from ‘Yogasana’ program organized on the occasion of ‘International Yoga Day’.

Highlights

  1. Four devout Hindus from Agra (Uttar Pradesh) and one devout Hindu from Gudgaon (Haryana), who are regular visitors of HJS website www.hindujagruti.org, participated in the demonstrations.
  2. Three activists of ‘Hindu Yuva Manch’, a pro-Hindu organization from Assam also joined the demonstrations.
  3. One fanatic rickshaw-driver waited at the venue of the demonstrations for one hour; leaving his work and was observing the happenings. Another fanatic came on a two-wheeler at the venue during ‘Hindutva-vadis’ speeches and boldly stopped for 10-15 minutes to listen to the speeches.
