Kolhapur (Maharashtra) : There is no need to teach Urdu in Marathi schools; still if the BJP Government of Maharashtra tried to convert Marathi schools into madarasas by compelling them to teach Urdu, BJP would go down the same way like Congress. TV channel ‘ZEE Zindagi’ should be immediately banned for glorifying Pakistan, demanded Shri. Mahesh Ursal, the city-Chief of Bajarang Dal. Demonstrations were staged near Shivaji Maharaj’s statue under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ on 7th June which was addressed by him. Shri. Prasad Kulkarni of HJS did compeering of the program.

Shri. Ashok Ramchandani of VHP said that Hindus had expectations from BJP. BJP had promised to build Sriram Mandir during its election campaigns. It was expected that Sriram Mandir would be built after BJP gained power; but even after one year of governance, BJP has been indifferent towards the issue. Shankaracharyas of ‘Dwaraka and Puri ‘Peethas’ are not happy with BJP. Even now, BJP can devise a time-bound plan for construction of Sriram Mandir.

Shiv Sena’s Dy. District-Chief Shri. Sambhaji Bhokare said that Sriram is an identity of Hindus. BJP is trying to evade issue of Ram Mandir even now. BJP should once declare that it is unable to build Sriram Mandir. Hindus from this country are quite capable of constructing Sriram Mandir. Shri. Sambhaji Salunkhe, the District –President of Bajarang Dal said that Hindus should not be forced to take some action against the Government which is trying to force Urdu on others.
