Unidentified persons damage idols of deities in Satara

Satara (Maharashtra): Pusegaon police have informed that idols of deities made from stone in Sree Vetalbaba temple in Rajapur, Khatao Taluka have been damaged by unknown persons. (If such damage was caused to objects of worship in case of followers of other religious path, what would have happened? There is no alternative to imparting training on religious matters to Hindus to awaken their love for Dharma – Editor)

The news in detail is that there is a temple of Sree Vetal Baba on Rajapur-Jarambi road near Rajapur in Khatao taluka. It was noticed that some unknown persons have damaged the idols made of stones and it is assumed that the incident must have happened in the night of 19th July. Shri. Sampatrao Madane, Sarpanch of Rajapur observed the breakage; he immediately informed the locals and lodged a complaint with the police. It is recorded in the complaint that the unknown persons have broken 2 idols out of the 3 and the investigations are going on.
