Bajarang Dal Youths left for Amarnath

New Delhi : Hundreds of youths belonging to the Bajrang Dal Marched to the Punchch district of Jammu & Kasmir last night. They have gone for the holi darshan of Baba Budha Amar Nath, 250 kms away from Jammu.
 
Purpose of the Yatra is to closely associate with the problems of Hindus in the valley, who are victims of Pak sponsored terrorism by Muslim fundamentalists. The Yatra will strainthen the sense of security among them & will ensure them that citizens of the country are with you in fighting against terrorism, said Mr. Vinod Bansal, spokesman of VHP Delhi.
 
Baba Budha Amar Nath is situated within the beautiful natural bounties and is 25 kms away from the Punchch. The Grandfather of Ravana – Rishi Pulatsya use to go to the holy cave of Swami Amar Nath. When he became old and is incapable of reaching the cave, Baba Amar Nath has appeared on the place in the form of rock Shiv Ling. Till then, the place is famous as Baba Budha Amar Nath. The river nearby is called Pulasti and the place is called Punchch. A large number of devotees were taking part in the holi Darshan of the place from the whole Jammu region.
 
Hindu population in three out of six districts of Jammu division has came down drastically. Doda and Rajouri districts are having 40% and 35% Hindus respectively whereas in Punchch the Hindus have been forced to 9% only. The yatra has got more significance due to the withdrawal of land allotted to the Baba Amar Nath shrine board, Mr. Bansal added.

The Yatra will not only boost up the moral of Kashmiri Hindus and security forces of the country but also promote unity and integrity of the country, said Mr. Satyendra Mohan, the State General Secretary of VHP.
