Amarnath protest reached Delhi; thousands arrested

New Delhi : Amarnath land issue today reached Delhi where thousands of protesters marched towards parliament and arrested. They raised their voice against withdrawal of land allotted to the Sree Amarnath Shrine Board and surrender of the state Govt. in front of the anti national Zihadi & pro- Pakistani eliments.

Addressing the protesters National secretary of VHP Shri Khem Chand said that if the Land allotment is not restored to the SASB, we will take this matter to the streets of the country. Today’s protest at Delhi is to alert the UPA govt that any delay in this regard may cause serious consequences.

Convener of the Amarnath Yatra Sangharsh Samiti & the national president of the Dharma Yatra Maha Sangh Shri Mange Ram Garg said that since last 33 days Jammu is blowing due to its largest protest in the region, but the state Govt. is kept mum. Even after the life sacrifice by four & injuring many, neither the state nor the central Govt bothered. When lot many Haz Houses have been constructed and crores of many is being spent by way of subsidy, why the Amarnath Yatris are denied their right.

Mahant Shri Surendra Nath Avdhoot of Kalka Peeth Delhi, Shri Ramesh Prakash – the state Head of RSS, Shri Kailash Singhal – regional organizing secretary of VHP, Shri Swadesh Pal – State president-VHP, Shri Satyandra Mohan-State Gen Sec.-VHP, Dr. Harsh Vardhan – state president of BJP, Shri Ashok Kapoor & shri Sailandra Jaishwal – state chief & deputy of Bajrang Dal were amongst those who addressed the gathering.

Police used water cannon to stop protesters reaching towards Parliament and thousands of them arrested. They were later release. Many religious, social, educational & cultural organisations such as Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi sabha, Arya Samaj, Jain Samaj, Jhandewali Devi Mandir Samitee, Kanvad Sangh etc took part in the protest.
