Shankaracharya Swami Narendranand Saraswati files case against anti-Hindu film ‘Mohalla Assi’

It is shameful for BJP Government that Shankaracharya has to go to police station to file a case against an anti-Hindu film ! Films released during BJP’s rule, just like under Congress regime, are denigrating Hindu Dharma and their Deities. These cannot surely be good days as per PM Modi ?

Varanasi – Shankaracharya Swami Narendranand Saraswati of Kashi Sumeru Peetha went to local police station and filed a case against anti-Hindu film ‘Mohalla Assi’ in which there is disgraceful denigration of Lord Shiva worshipped by all Hindus. In a case filed by Shankaracharya, names of actors Sunny Deol, Ravikishen, Saurabh Shukla, Sakshi Tanwar and its Director Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi have been mentioned.

Shankaracharya said on the occasion that a trailer of this film was released recently on social websites. In one of the scenes, Lord Shiva has been insulted stooping to a very low level. A person in attire of Lord Shiva is given Rs. 100-200 and is shown as taking photographs, using a very foul language. Such things are maligning India’s image even across the world and have hurt religious sentiments of Hindus. No Saint- Seers and Sanyasi would allow such film to be released.
