The said photo-exhibition displayed 16 charts containing pictures of idol desecration and information in this regard. In his comments about this exhibition, the Chairman of the Navdurga Devasthan, Shri. Premanand Kamat applauded the efforts of the AGMSS for undertaking this awareness activity. It is necessary to provide information to more and more people about the Samiti’s activities; thus there is a need for an increase in the number of its volunteers. Many people who viewed the exhibition asserted that such incidents occur because the Hindu community is not united and that the security of Hindu temples should be improved. They also applauded the Samiti for organising this exhibition to create awareness.

An appeal to participate in public awareness activity through the medium of this exhibition

The Akhil Goa Mandir Suraksha Samiti has made an appeal to all to participate in this awareness activity of curbing the series of idol desecration incidents, by organising this exhibition that gives information about incidents of desecration of Hindu deities, at various places throughout the State. Those who are interested in organising this photo-exhibition in their locality may contact the Samiti’s office bearer on 94238 86436.
