Armed attack by jihadis on Hindus at Belgaum under trivial excuse

In Congress-led State, behaviour of fanatics is as in Mughal regime !

  • Forcibly enter Hindus’ houses and beat people
  • Hindu woman attacked with sword
  • More than 20 persons, including police, injured
  • More than 25 vehicles damaged
  • Arson

Belgaum (Karnataka) :  Hindu and Muslim children playing cricket had a fight on 12th July which was sufficient for Muslims to start pelting stones at Hindus’ houses after 11.30 p.m. and stage riots. Fanatics forcibly entered Hindus’ houses and attacked; in which a Hindu woman was also injured. Fanatics were on rampage for 1 and half hours during which they broke window-panes of Hindus’ houses and set a police vehicle on fire. More than 20 people including police have been injured in stone-pelting by fanatics. (How can police protect ordinary citizens when they themselves get thrashed by fanatics ? Such police should be dismissed. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Glasses of more than 25 cars were also damaged. Police burst 8 tear-gas shells to bring situation under control at 12.15 a.m. in the night and fired rounds in air.

1. Children were playing on the ground of Kannada school at Gandhinagar when they had a tiff.

2. Consequent to this tiff, fanatics started rioting at 11.30 p.m. There was heavy stone-pelting on Hindus’ houses in areas like Gandhinagar, New Gandhinagar, Durgamata Road, and Zakria Mohalla where fanatics went on rampage. (It shows that fanatics do not need any excuse to attack Hindus ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

3. Houses of Shri. Lakhsman Patil, Shri. Raju Patil on Durgamata Road, Siddhalingayya Vibhuti Mutt, Shri-Shail Charanti Mutt were targeted by fanatics. Fanatics had carried knives, iron bars and swords to attack Hindus’ houses and vehicles.

4. Fanatics tried to set many vehicles on fire; as also pelted stones even on buses, trucks etc. plying on Pune – Bengaluru highway.

5. Many Hindus on Durgamata Road and Zakria Mohalla closed doors of their houses when they saw rioting by fanatics.

6. Few Hindus tried to give apt reply to fanatics.

7. Police Inspector Jyotirlinga Honkatti, dy. Inspector B. R. Gadekar and their selected staff from ‘Malmaruti’ police station first reached the place of incident. Police tried their best to disperse fanatics but then, fanatics attacked even police.   

8. Constable Vasant Ramchandra Akshimani and Gurusiddhappa Lakshman Kotbagi (age -44 yrs) were injured in stone-pelting besides few others who are being treated in Civil Hospital. (How will police, getting thrashed by fanatics, protect Hindus ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

9. Additional force was called for. Police Commissioner S. Ravi reached with additional force. On seeing police, Hindus started slowly coming out and gave information to police. Still, police found it difficult to control fanatics.

10. Fanatics pelted stones and threw bottles towards police from highway.

11. Police burst 8 shells of tear-gas to disperse fanatics; but their insolence was increasing. Finally, a police officer took out his revolver and shot 5 bullets in air then only fanatics started running.

12. In the end, Congress MLA Firoz Seth took a round of riot-stricken areas and made a so-called appeal for maintaining peace. (Will such hollow appeal ever be responded by insolent fanatics? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)     

13. Fire Brigade staff used water sprays and tried to remove heaps of stones, bricks and shattered glasses. Senior police officers inspected houses of Hindus where stone-pelting had occurred. (We need police who do not just inspect but protect Hindus from fanatics! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Events of 13th July !

1. 36 Muslims and 20 Hindu youth have been arrested in this connection. Cases under IPC Sect. 333, 307 etc. have been applied to register cases for communal riots and attempt to kill etc. (Riots were started by fanatics. Hindus were attacked with knives and swords then why are Hindus arrested ? In such situations, if fanatics attack police, will Hindus go to help police ?- Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

2. Shri. Ramakant Konduskar, the District President of Sriram Sena has also been arrested and police have arrested some Hindu young men who were sleeping at the time of riots. Congress MLA Firoz Seth showed houses of many Hindus to police and instructed them to arrest Hindus from those houses. (How can such police, dancing to the tune of fanatics, be called secular ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

3. Representatives of pro-Hindu organizations met Police Commissioner Ravi and had discussions with him. Hindus have warned that Hindu youth should not be arrested and harassed when fanatics staged riots. If they are not released immediately, call for ‘Belgaum bandh’ will be given. BJP MLA Shri. Suresh Angadi, former MLA Shri. Abhay Patil, ‘Belgaum Seva Sanghatana’s President Shri. Pandurang Dhobe, Shri. Ajit Jadhav of ‘Shri Shiva-pratishthan’, Bajarang Dal’s Shri. Vijay Jadhav and Sriram Sena’s Shri. Maruti Sutar etc. were present on the occasion.

4. CP Ravi had promised to release innocent Hindus by 4.00 p.m.; but he has not kept his word.       

5. Sriram Sena’s Shri. Pramod Mutalik visited damaged houses of Hindus on 13th July; but CP Ravi took an anti-Hindu stance that till Shri. Mutalik was in the riot-stricken area, there would be no discussions with Hindus.
