Denigration of Hindu Deities through films due to lack of unity amongst Hindus – Shri. Vijay Thakare, journalist
It has been observed from the trailer of film ‘Mohalla Assi’, released on YouTube that there is grave denigration of Hindu Deities, Bhagavan Shiva so also of Kashi, Hindus’ holy place of pilgrimage. Bhagavan Shiva, Saints and seers, holy River Ganga and Kashi Kshetra have been referred to in a very disgraceful manner, stooping to very low level. Necessary changes are carried out when followers of other religions raise objection to matters related to their religion; but Hindus are not united; therefore, Hindus’ Deities are always denigrated through films. Hindus should come together and oppose this film, appealed Shri. Vijay Thakare, a freelance reporter during the demonstrations.
