Bangaluru (Karnataka): Hindu Janjagruti Samiti coordinators Sou. Poornima Prabhu, Sou. Surekha Keni and Shri.Arvind Baliga met Shri. Suresh Kumar, State Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs as a part of their Ganeshotsav Abhiyan.
During discussion with Shri. Suresh Kumar he was told of how mispractises occure on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi and how its aim of celebration got deteriorated. Shri.Suresh appreciated HJS activities and told that if this matter is told to saints they will preach their followers and he also faxed letters to poojya Shri Shri Shri Shivakumar swamiji of Sree Siddaganga Math, Tumkur and to Poojya Bal Gangadhar swamiji of Aadi Chunchanagiri Math requesting them to guide the Samiti members in their activity of Ganeshotsav. He called the TV 9 channel and asked them to host a panel discussion on the same day. When he was told of signature campaign to ban ‘Love Guru’ movie, he immediately showed positive response and gave his signature.
