Nashik (Maharashtra) : On the occasion of ‘Simhastha Parva’, Saints- sadhus have started arriving in Nashik and whole Nashik seems to be converted into Simhastha pilgrimage place and in such sanctified atmosphere, fresh and dry fish was being sold during weekly bazaar on the bank of holy River Godavari; from where sacred ‘Ram-kunda’ is just few metres away. It was observed that most of the sellers were Hindus. (Lack of Dharma-shikshan amongst Hindus is making selfish Hindus do such anti-Dharma acts ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
It becomes difficult for devotees to have holy – dip in ‘Ram-kunda’ due to huge crowds at the time of ‘Shahi-snan’ and now, they are coming here for such ‘snan’ from all over the country.
After bath, devotees have to face strong stink of fish while returning, since the sale is going on the road leading to ‘Ram-kunda’. Sale of fish is going on even very close to temple of Mata ‘Sati Asara’. Devotees are quite displeased with the situation and demanding for immediate ban on such sale in the area.
Dry fish gives out a very strong stink and it has become difficult for devotees to pass by this road without covering their nose. (Hindus should force the local Administration to stop sale of fish which is violating sanctity of this place of pilgrimage ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
