‘Open Manikarnika Kund for public as per Magistrate’s orders’

  • Hindus must note the adverse effects of Government managing temples and force the BJP Government to hand over temple management to devotees for bringing good days for Hindus !

  • Appeal to people to come forward and give proofs, if any, of malpractices of Paschim Maharashtra Devasthan Vyavasthapan Samiti

Kolhapur (Maharashtra) : Shri Mahalakshmi Devsthan Bhrashtacharvirodhi Kruti Samiti (Action committee) has presented few more proofs of corruption of Paschim Maharashtra Devasthan Vyvasthapan Samiti (PMDVS) during a press conference held on 25th July. Today, the District Collector is ‘acting’ President of PMDVS; therefore, he should look into the matter of corruption or devotees will have to stage agitations, warned, Shri. Ramesh Shinde, the national spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

PMDVS has closed down Manikarnika – Kunda which is an inseparable part of Devasthan and has started a latrine there. On 15th April 2013, the District Collector issued orders to close the latrine and allow people to go to Manikarnika-Kunda; but PMDVS has not taken any action; so the Kunda should be opened for devotees by removing latrine from that place, was an appeal made on the occasion.

Advocate Veerendra Ichalkaranjikar, legal advisor of HJS and President of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishada (HVP) also appealed to people for submission of proofs if any, to the action committee, in connection with malpractices of PMDVS.

Shri. Madhukar Nazare can be contacted for this purpose on 9766393920.

Shri. Krushna Shinge from Vadi Ratnagiri (Jyotiba) gave information on wrong deeds of PMDVS. In January 2015, HVP had exposed different scams of PMDVS related to land, mining, ornaments offered to Deity and making of ‘prasad ladoos’ etc.

As per the information obtained by Shri. Krushna Shinge, Ajit Dadarne was given 3 acres of land in the year 1991 for providing flowers, garlands etc. required for Kedarlinga (Jyotiba) Devasthan. In 2009 also, 5 acres land was given to him for supplying flowers, garlands etc. when ‘Fulari’ Nikam at Jyotiba Hills was already given the contract of providing flowers for Devasthan for which he was given land at Manpadale (taluka Hatkanagale), Jakhale (Tal. Panhala) by PMDVS. Why then Dadarne was given land ? Moreover, PMDVS only gave information about giving land to Dadarne without discussing the matter in Trustees’ meeting. Shri. Shinge had lodged a complaint with District Collector in November 2014 and 3 reminder letters were also sent. No action has, however, been taken in this context. The same Dadarne has been running a lodge in illegal manner, at Wadi Ratnagiri.
