Delhi: It was observed by Sanatan seekers and activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti that a company named ‘Shri Ganapati Foods’ had printed a picture of Shri Ganesh on the packet-cover of its products causing denigration of the deity. Seekers, Shri Sudershan Gupta and Smt. Manju Gupta contacted owner Shri. Sudhir Jain of this company and explained to them how the use of Shri Ganesh’s picture led to denigration and registered their protest. (All Hindus should learn from this incident and stop, in lawful manner, damage caused to Dharma ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) They also informed Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) about the denigration. Later, Shri. Chandraprakash and Shri. Kartik Salunkhe went to the main office of the company to meet Shri. Jain and explained the seriousness of the matter to him. After which, Shri. Jain promised that in future, picture of Shri Ganesh would not be printed on packets of their products. ( After the products is used, its cover is thrown in garbage-bins. If picture or name of any Deity is printed on its cover, it causes denigration of that Deity; therefore, name of the Deity and picture should be changed. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
Highlights : Shri. Sudhir Jain tried to know the importance of chanting own family-Deity’s name and other facets of spiritual practice and subscribed to monthly issue of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’. He also arranged to drop HJS activists to nearest Metro railway station.
