Martyr Day of ‘Veer’ Shiva Kashid celebrated with enthusiasm

Panhala : Today’s youth should learn qualities like sacrifice and selflessness from the sacrifice of ‘Naraveer’ Shiva Kashid. The incident which took place at Panhala should inspire people, stated Shri. Pramod Mutalik, the Founder President of Sriram Sena. ‘Shivaratna Naraveer Shiva Kashid Pratishthan’ had arranged a program on 355^th death anniversary of Shiva Kashid on 31^st July at ‘Anant Smruti Bhavan’, Panhalagad when he addressed the gathering.

Shri. Pramod Mutalik did ‘puja’ of the ‘samadhi’ of ‘Naraveer’ Shiva Kashid at 11 a.m. and garlanded statues of Naraveer Bajiprabhu Deshpande and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Shri. Nilkanth Shankarrao Mane, the founder of ‘Shiva Kashid Pratishthan’ was felicitated by Shri. Pramod Mutalik with the title of ‘Hindu Dharmayoddha’. Shri. Anandrao Kashid, descendant of Shiva Kashid, Shri. Vaijnath Deshpande, descendant of Bajiprabhu Deshpande and Shri. Sudhakar Sutar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Shri. Sambhaji Salunkhe, District President of Bajarang Dal along with several devout Hindus were present on the occasion. The program was concluded with raising slogans of ‘Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji’ and ‘Har har Mahadev’.
