Prevent abuse of National Flags : Representation submitted to District Collector by HJS

HJS drive for maintaining honour of national flags !

Pune : Shri. Parag Gokhale of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) met Shri. Saurabh Rao, District Collector of Pune on 7th August in connection with implementation of Mumbai High Court’s orders for prevention of abuse of plastic national flags; occurring on the occasion of Independence Day. He submitted a representation to Shri. Rao for maintaining honour of national flags. Shri. Rao read the representation and said that all departments of the Government would be given necessary instructions to prevent abuse of national flags and HJS would be informed. He was also shown a VCD prepared by HJS for creating awareness amongst citizens on this issue. He responded positively to show the VCD in theatres in Pune. Hindutvavadis viz. Shri. Aniket Harale and Shri. Abhijit Borate were also present during the meeting.
