Bhatkal (Karnataka) : ProHindu organizations held demonstrations in front of office of Assistant Commissioner under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ for their demand of putting restrictions on reading of namaz on roads and for filing cases of treason against those who supported terrorist Yakub Memon. Representation was also submitted to the Government with various demands. The organizations participating in demonstrations were Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, VHP, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishada, Sanatan Sanstha; besides devout Hindus.
