DSP refuses to accept HJS representation in Karnataka

Police officers, who do not pay respect to our national flags, should be dismissed ! Such officers will not be found in Hindu Rashtra !

Chikmangaluru (Karnataka) : District Superintendent of Police (DSP) Santosh Babu refused to accept the representation submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) demanding prevention of abuse of national flags.

On 10th August 2015, activists of HJS had gone to the office of DSP Babu. Babu asked them why children should not use national flags. HJS members explained to him that misuse of national flags led to their desecration. Babu said, “Children use pictures of Deities. When the pictures get torn, don’t we immerse them in ‘Tulsi’ or under a tree? You should once read the flag Code of 2014. According to this Code, you can even display flags on your house. One day we put up such flags and express our pride; then what is wrong with being happy doing the same ? In other countries also, flag is displayed on clothes by citizens to show their patriotism.” Later when HJS members requested him to accept the representation, Babu asked them to first study the flag code and only then he would talk to them; thus refusing to accept the representation.
