HJS drive for maintaining honour of National Flags !

Barshi (Dis. Solapur) : Hindu Janajagtruti Samiti (HJS) submitted a representation to (Acting) Tehsildar Shri. Uttamrao Pawar at Barshi demanding implementation of order passed by Mumbai High Court for maintaining honour of national flags. Shri. Pawar read the representation and promised representatives of HJS that notices would be issued to vendors for preventing abuse of national flags.

It has been demanded through this representation that committee should be set up at district and taluka levels for maintaining honour of national flags and VCD prepared on the subject should be shown through different mass media, local cable channels etc. to create awareness on the subject.

Representation was submitted to zonal officer at Pandharpur by representatives of HJS and his senior clerk accepted it on behalf of the zonal officer.

Dhule : Shri. Tukaram Hulawale, District Collector was given a  representation under HJS drive of maintaining honour of national flags through a delegation comprising of Dr. Yogesh Patil of ‘Yoga Vedanta Seva Samiti’, Shri. Vilas Rajput of ‘Swadesh Jagaran Manch’, Shri. Amol Jerekar of ‘Shri. Dakshin-mukhi Maruti Mandir Mandal’, Shri. Vijay Sonar of ‘Suvarnakar Samaj Mandal’ and representatives of HJS and Sanatan Sanstha.  

VCD prepared by HJS on prevention of abuse of national flags was taken by the District Collector to see. He informed about issuing a circular on prevention of abuse of national flags and to set up action committee for its implementation by associating HJS in this task.  

Representation submitted at Phalatan (Dist. Satara)

Representation being submitted to (Acting) Tehsildar Prakash Kambale

Phalatan : Misuse of plastic national flags leads to denigration of national flags and on 11th August, HJS submitted representation to Dy. zonal officer and local police inspector demanding prevention of abuse of national flags. The representation was accepted by (Acting ) Tehsildar Shri. Prakash Kambale.

Shri. Ashish Kapase drew attention of Shri. Kambale to the facts that despite Government issuing circulars to stop abuse of national flags, it is not implemented since plastic flags are later used like containers by turning upside down; for giving students some snacks. Plastic flags are still sold at some places. Shri. Kambale immediately called his clerk and instructed him to write letters to Education Officer, municipality for issuing circulars against vendors of plastic national flags. Phalatan city Police Inspector Shri. Ravindra Pisal promised to issue notice, in advance, to retail sellers of plastic national flags. BJP’s Shri. Gore and HJS activists were present on the occasion.

Sambhajinagar : HJS submitted representation to Dy. District Collector Shri. Pradip Katake for preventing abuse of national flags. He promised that necessary care would be taken to stop abuse of national flags in the district. Similar representations were also submitted to Mayor, Zilha Parishad’s primary education officer and Police Commissioner at Sambhajinagar. Shri. Rajesh Mehta, President of BJP – Mahasangh, Shri. Subhash Kumawat, Shukla, Jemase of VHP along with members of HJS and Sanatan Sanstha were present.  

Highlights

Zilha Parishad’s officer Chaure and Gaikwad took photographs of representation for forwarding it to the concerned authorities and lauded activities of HJS.
