Issue of fake Sadhus to be discussed during Saints congregation

Nasik (Maharashtra) : Shri. Sunil Ghanwat, Convener of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Shri. Mahant Bhakticharandasji Maharaj of ‘Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir’ said during press conference that discussions would be held in a congregation of Saints during Simhastha Parva on the issue of so called ‘Sadhus’ behaving wrongly under cover of saffron robes.

Shri. Satish Shukla, President of ‘Purohit Sangh’, ‘Pujya’ Nandkumar Jadhav of Sanatan Sanstha, Shri. Ramsingh Bavari of ‘Hindu Ekata Andolan’, Shri. Deepak Bairagi of Lakshman Mandir, Shri. Bapu Bairagi, Secretary of ‘Akhil Bharatiya Bairagi Parishad’, H.B.P. Mahant Sampatrao Ghogade Maharaj of ‘Maharashtra Rajya Warakari Mahamandal’ and Shri. Pravin Jadhav, President of ‘Garjana Pratishthan’ were present.

Shri. Ghanwat said, “Due to a handful of people, Hindu Dharma and true ‘Sadhus and Mahatmas’ are getting defamed. This causes an adverse effect on faith of devotees. Therefore, awareness will be created amongst people regarding this topic.” Shri. Mahant Bhakticharandas Maharaj said, “Any person wearing saffron robes is referred to as ‘Sadhu’, ‘Maharaj’ or ‘Baba’ by media which is sending wrong message to people. Media should first understand who should be called a ‘Sadhu’.”
