‘Simhastha Parva – Nasik’ . . . thus, the whole atmosphere had become charged with Sanatan !
Nasik (Maharashtra) : ‘Dharma-dhvajarohan’ (ceremony of hoisting the Dharma dhvaj) of ‘Akhil Bharatiya Shri. Panch Digambar Ani Akhada’, ‘Akhil Bharatiya Nirmohi Ani Akhada’ and ‘Akhil Bharatiya Nirvani Ani Akhada’ was held with lot of enthusiasm. Spontaneous participation of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) in the ‘Dhvajarohan’ functions was remarkable and everyone attending these programs appreciated the manner in which Sadhus and Mahants’ were welcomed by Sanatan and HJS.
Sanatan seekers and HJS members were present in ‘Sadhugram’ since early morning for welcoming ‘Sadhus and Mahants’ arriving for Simhastha Parva. Everyone was curious to take darshan and welcome the ‘Sadhus’. Ritualsitic worship of ‘Dharma-dhvaj’ was started at 7.00 a.m. in all 3 ‘akhadas’ where Sanatan seekers and activists of HJS were holding banners to welcome everyone. ‘Sadhus’ arriving at ‘akhadas’ seemed to feel spiritually indebted for such welcome. After ‘Dhvaj-pujan’, BJP’s national President Amit Shah and State Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis went to every ‘akhada’ for hoisting of the ‘Dhvaj’. In such hustle-bustle also, everyone’s attention was getting drawn towards the yellow banners of Sanatan, emitting ‘chaitanya’.
A meeting was organized at a little distance from ‘akhadas’; here too, Sanatan seekers and HJS activists were holding banners. Some of them were also carrying umbrellas on which matter related to protection of nation and Dharma was written; thus the whole atmosphere had become charged with Sanatan.
Highlights –
1. Two seekers of Sanatan blew conch at the time of ‘Dhvajarohan’.
2. A member of Purohit Sangh said that banners displayed by Sanatan were quite eye-catching.
3. Few Saints and devotees clicked photographs of banners held by Sanatan seekers.
4. At some places, police made provision for seekers to get cover from the sun and looked after them.
5. After the function, seekers and activists went to Shri. Seetaram bappa’s food-court for having ‘prasad’. There, a devotee fed a morsel to a seeker with love.
