Why doesn’t Court ban offering of ‘Namaz’ on roads & railway platforms? – Adv. Manish Verma

‘Rahstriya Hindu Andolan’ at Bhusaval

Bhusaval (Jalgaon Dist.) : ‘In India where Hindus are in majority, Court gives instruction to Hindus on how to celebrate their religious festivals; but why is there one law for Hindus and another for Muslims ? Muslims are blocking roads and traffic while offering ‘namaz’ causing lot of inconvenience to citizens. Why is Court not imposing ban on this ? Will Court allow if tomorrow Hindus start performing ‘aarti’ on roads ?’, asked advocate Manish Verma while addressing participants of demonstrations held on 21st August at 11.00 a.m. near Bhusaval Tehsildar’s office. The demonstrations were held under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’. About 25 devout Hindus, including advocates Shri. Manish Verma, Shri. Lokhande and Shri. Medhe, Sanatan Sanstha’s Shri. Yashawant Patil, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS)’s Shri. Shashikant Surwadkar, Shri. Hiraman Wagh, Shri. Anil Patil, Shri. Umesh Joshi etc. participated in the demonstrations.

Advocate Shri. Lokhande said, “Supporters of Yakub Memon should be declared as anti-national and stringent action should be taken against them so that nobody would dare to extend such support to terrorists in future.” Shri. Shashi Surwadkar of HJS said that all relations with Pakistan, which is sending terrorists to India, should be ended and program called ‘Shaan-e-Pakistan’ proposed to be held at Delhi should be cancelled.

After the demonstrations, petition with all demands was submitted to Tehsildar, Bhusaval.
