Trimbakeshwar-Nasik : On the day of ‘Shravan Pournima’, the first ‘Raj yogi Snan/ Shahi snan’ will take place at Kushawarta Kund, Trimbakeshwar. On this occasion, Saints and Mahants, Mahamandaleshwars from 10 ‘akhadas’ have arrived at Trimbakeshwar.
Devotees have come from all over the country in large numbers. ‘Dharmaprasar’ activities of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) have gained momentum on this occasion of Simhastha Parva.
Seekers of Sanatan Sanstha have written matters related to ‘Dharma’ on walls for creating awareness amongst people. The messages are based on religious and social subjects. The walls at strategic points are painted by seekers writing enlightening messages and these walls have become centre of attraction of devotees. On the routes of procession taken out by ‘akhadas’ or routes leading to ‘Raj yogi Snan’, Sanatan and HJS have displayed banners welcoming people or written useful matter on these banners.
Book-exhibition and other products of Sanatan are also available on its ‘Dharmaratha’ and good response is received from devotees for the books and products. Seekers are also selling these books by carrying them in ‘danglers’; meeting Hindutvavadis and explaining them activities of the Sanstha.
Highlights
- Seekers of Sanatan Sanstha doing prasar can be easily recognized. Hence, during processions of Peshwai and at other times, police can spot Sanatan’s seekers from huge mob and pave the way for them.
- Many devotees can be seen reading the walls with Dharmaprasar matter keenly.
- While seekers of Sanatan and activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) involved in Dharmaprasar activities visit ‘Annachhatras’ (where there is free distribution of food) of ‘Akhadas’ to take prasad, at that time they are inquired about their well-being affectionately.
- When seekers go to ‘Annachhatra’ of ‘Shri Panchayati Agni Akhada’, they are made to sit along with dignitaries.
