Nasik : A petition was kept at the exhibition held at Simhastha Parva, undertaking signature drive against Central Government organizing exhibition ‘Shaan-e-Pakistan’ and ‘qawali’ program by Pakistani artistes in Delhi. Hundreds of people signed the petition. Recently, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had held a press conference in Mumbai and warned to stage intense agitations if the proposed programs were not cancelled. HJS is creating awareness amongst devotees in this connection at Simhastha Parva and undertook signature drive. It has been stated in the petition that Pakistan has been constantly involved in terrorist attacks on India. On one hand, we say that Pakistan should be given apt reply and get applause from citizens and in reality, we hold discussions with Pakistan on peace; make concessions for Pakistani artists and cricketers which is an insult of Indians whose lives were sacrificed in such attacks. The new Government must give a fitting reply to Pakistan and for welfare of this country; it must show its firm stand against Pakistan by cancelling Pakistani exhibition and qawali proposed to be held from 10th to 12th September 2015.
