Issue reg. Imposition of ban on staunch Hindutvavadi Shri. Pramod Mutalik to enter Goa
New Delhi : BJP Government of Goa has imposed ban on Shri. Pramod Mutalik, Founder President of Sriram Sena from entering Goa, since last year.
Goa Bench of Mumbai High Court refused to interfere in this decision taken by Goa Government. In this connection, Shri. Mutalik filed a petition in Supreme Court.
On 31st August, at the time of hearing, Shri. Mutalik’s advocate Shri. Vishnu Shankar Jain withdrew the petition.
A representative of ‘Hindu Varta’ contacted advocate Shri. Jain in this connection. Shri. Jain informed that Court’s attention was drawn to Goa Government constantly applying clause 144 against Shri. Mutalik; that time, Justice H. L. Dattu clearly stated ‘keep law aside’.
Shri. Jain said that the Justice started targeting Sriram Sena on the so-called attack by the organization at Mangluru; therefore, we withdrew the petition; but anti-Hindu media have been publishing false news saying that Supreme Court has confirmed the decision of Mumbai High Court continuing ban on Shri. Mutalik and Shri. Mutalik should not enter Goa for next 6 months.
In fact, Supreme Court has not given any decision.
