HJS’ Ideal Ganesh Festival
Karanja-Vashim (Maharashtra) : On 10th September, a meeting was held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at 6.30 p.m. at Shriram Mandir with office bearers and members of Ganesh festival committees from Karanja.
All the office bearers and members unanimously agreed to celebrate the festival in an ideal manner this year. 90 people attended the meeting.
Shri. Shrikant Pisolkar of HJS explained the benefits of celebrating Ganesh festival in ideal and spiritual manner and spiritual practice happening through the same. A VCD was shown on why idols should not be donated and should be immersed in flowing water to stop denigration of the Deity.
Later, Shri. Rajesh Dhoke, Shri. Nandlal Gupta, Shri. Mangesh Metkar and Shri. Hemant Fuladi expressed their views.
