Why Congress shouldn’t be banner for 1984 anti-Sikh riots ? : Uday Dhuri, HJS

Mumbai : Pruthviraj Chavan, the former State Chief Minister of Congress is demanding ban on Sanatan; but former Central Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde says that he never received such kind of proposal. There is no coordination amongst Congressmen and still Raju Waghmare, spokesperson of Congress is demanding ban on Sanatan. No accusation of killing has so far been made against Sanatan; so question of its proving does not arise. But in case the same analogy is to be applied, why shouldn’t there be ban on communists who had killed 250 RSS members in Kerala ? What is to be done with Congressmen who were responsible for massacre of Sikhs after Indira Gandhi’s assassination ? Today, Bengal Governent has exposed 64 confidential files which can prove that Congress had killed Netaji Subhashchandra Bose; so why shouldn’t be Congress banned ? , asked Dr. Uday Dhuri, spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) during a program held on ‘TV 9 Marathi’ news channel under ‘Khaas Baat’ to discuss topic ‘Is demand of ban on Sanatan Sanstha right?’ BJP’s spokesperson Sou. Kanta Nalawade, Congress’ Raju Waghmare, Bharatiya Communist Party’s Prakash Reddy participated in the program hosted by Pradnya Kulkarni.

Dr. Uday Dhuri said

1. Investigations have been carried into Sanatan Sanstha on number of occasions. Police had also inspected all books but found nothing objectionable; whereas Raju Waghmare has been saying anything against Sanatan’s books.

2. He is referring to book on self-defence and purposely distorting the matter.

3. Sanatan Sanstha is a spiritual patriotic organization. This Sanstha has also exposed malpractices in temples managed by the Government. We fought even against insult of national flags.

4. ‘Sarsanghachalak’ has opposed to old traditions and customs which is alright for people who have high spiritual level but Sanatan feels it is its duty to explain to people what kind of spiritual practice is necessary for people in lower level of spirituality and what is required after achieving higher level etc.

BJP’s Sou. Kanta Nalawade admonishes Congress spokesperson !

Sou. Kanta Nalawade said, “Now, one person has been arrested and Congress is demanding ban on Sanatan. Is it right ? There is no need for Congressmen to tell us what we should do. Waghmare should first tell what happened to attempts made to impose ban on Sanatan during their regime.”
