‘Dharmashikshan needs to be imparted in schools !’
Nasik(Maharashtra) : Today’s generation needs to be taught spiritual science along with other science subjects. Not only Hindus should be taught their Dharma but even followers of other religions should also be taught their religion. In today’s world, one needs science but spirituality should not be overlooked. There will be peace if there is humanity. Our Dharma teaches humanity; therefore, ‘Dharmashikshan’ will teach humanity. Good ‘sanskars’ should be inculcated in children from young age. ‘Dnyaneshwari’ should be taught in schools along with lessons on ‘Dharmashikshan’. The above views were expressed by Anant Shri. Vibhushit Jagatguru Ramanandacharya Shri. Swami Narendracharyaji Maharaj
Anant Shri. Vibhushit Jagatguru Ramanandacharya Shri. Swami Narendracharyaji Maharaj arrived in Nasik on the occasion of ‘Simhastha Kumbh Mela’. He was asked a question on Government considering a proposal to teach lessons from Geeta and Ramayana etc. in schools and colleges; on which Swamiji gave the above guidance.
Regarding ‘Simhastha Kumbh-Mela’ he said, “This ‘Kumbh-Mela held after every 12 years is a symbol of spirituality and humanity. Our nation is a Hindu Rashtra; therefore, we made a slogan as ‘Hindu Dharma is Humanity’. Millions of people gather on the occasion of Kumbh-Mela and there is exchange of spiritual thoughts.”
