Local residents should not get influenced by mud-slinging by Sanatan Sanstha’s adversaries !

An appeal by ‘Zilha Panchayat’ members and members of ‘Gram-Panchayat’, Bandoda to local residents

Ponda (Goa) : Sanatan Sanstha has been engaged in promoting Hindu Dharma which is commendable; but persons craving for publicity are demanding imposition of ban on Sanatan’s ashram to defame Sanatan Sanstha. People have seen Sanatan’s activities from close quarters all these years and they should not fall prey to lies of the persons who are trying to malign Sanatan’s name. Members of ‘Zilha-Panchayat’ and Bandoda ‘Gram-Panchayat’ made the above appeal during a press conference held on 7th October. (National news channels, who promptly showed news of opposition of an ordinary local resident, did not bother to show news on press conference held by Panchayat members of Bandoda; clearly exhibiting Sanatan-hatred of news channels ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

‘Zilha-Panchayat’ members Sou. Chitra Fadate, Bandoda Panchayat’s Dy. Sarpanch Shri. Santosh Fadate, members Shri. Ramchandra Naik, Sou. Sulaksha Naik, Shri. Rajesh Naik, former Dy. Sarpanch Shri. Ramchandra Naik and few local residents were present. Sou. Sharmila Lotalikar, ‘Panch-sadasya (member)’ and her son Saurabh Lotalikar have made a demand for shifting of Sanatan’s ashram from Ramnathi and have warned to take out a march on 11thOctober for this demand. In this background, members of Bandoda Panchayat and other Zilha-Panchayat members organised a press conference to oppose their wrong demand and to extend support to Sanatan Sanstha.

Shri. Ramchandra Naik said, “Few persons are trying to implicate Sanatan Sanstha in some cases. One seeker of Sanatan has been arrested by Maharashtra police only on suspicion; but nothing has been proved against him. It is the job of investigating agencies to conduct investigations.”

The Home Ministry will decide whether to impose ban on the organisation; but some people are unnecessarily trying to disturb peace by giving warnings of taking out march and holding agitation. Sou. Chitra Fadate, a member of ‘Zilha-Panchayat’ said, “Sanatan Sanstha has been working for protection of Hindu Dharma. It is raising voice against denigration of Deities; but attempts are made by few persons to defame Sanatan through various media.” Shri. Santosh Fadate said, “Everyone has a right to work for own religion in democracy. Peace of this place is disturbed due to false propaganda going on against Sanatan. It is not right to accuse Sanatan as guilty even before investigations are completed.”
