‘Establishment of Hindu Rashtra is necessary to take care of Hindus’ religious sentiments’

‘Hindutva Shaurya’ award conferred on Sanatan Sanstha’s spokesperson Abhay Vartak by Hindu Mahasabha, Pandharpur

Pandharpur (Dist. Solapur) :  In this country, religious sentiments of only Muslims, Christians and Buddhists have value and religious sentiments of Hindus treated like trash. Establishment of Hindu Rashtra is necessary to take care of religious sentiments of Hindus, stated Shri. Abhay Vartak, spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha in a program held by Hindu Mahasabha at Pandharpur to commemorate death anniversary of great Krantiveer Vasantdada Badave. Shri. Vartak was conferred an award in the name of Krantiveer Vasantdada Badave which comprised of a shawl, sreephal, garland, memento and Rs. 11,000/-. The matter written on memento was also read out on the occasion. Shri. Sachin Dange, a municipal councilor, Chief Officer Shri. Shankar Gore, H.B.P. Ramakrushna Maharaj Veer, H.B.P. Maruti Maharaj Tunatune, Shri. Abhay Singh Kulkarni of Hindu Mahasabha, Mayor Sou. Sadhanatai Bhosale, municipal councilor Sou. Vaishnavi Benare etc. were present on the occasion. Shri. Lakshminarayan Bhattad of Cloth Merchants’ Association, H.B.P. Tunatune Maharaj and Shri. Ram Mundhewadikar (age-80 yrs) also felicitated Shri. Vartak.

Shri. Vartak said

1. All Sanatan seekers are facing inquiry by police with courage; therefore, the award belonged to all seekers.

2. Hindus need to unite; forgetting their caste, creed and sects. Hindus should try to express their side firmly by trying to be spokespersons of Hindus. Hindus should bring ‘Hindutva’ in their every act and speech and follow ‘Dharmacharan’.

H.B.P. Shankar Maharaj Badave said that as told by Shri. Abhay Vartak, Hindus should follow Dharmacharan. The statue of Krantiveer Vasantdada Badave was garlanded on the occasion. Shri. Mahesh Khiste introduced Shri. Abhay Vartak and Shri. Abhay Kulkarni (Ichgaonkar) explained various activities undertaken by Sanatan. The program was concluded with singing of ‘Pasay-daan’.

Highlights       

1. From the way in which Shri. Abhay Vartak was answering questions asked by reporters, Maharaj said that he got to experience what was God’s chaitanya and how it worked. Shri. Vartak’s speech was ‘sattvik’ and restrained.

2. Shri. Vartak’s speech was being responded by Hindutvavadis with slogans of ‘Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji; Jai Shriram’ etc.

Appeal by Shri. Abhay Vartak to reporters and police : If you say you are Hindu, show that in your actions !

Shri. Vartak made an appeal to reporters and police. He said, “You have seen what organizations like Raza Academy can do. If such organizations increased, condition of Hindus would become more serious. Many reporters and police say that they are Hindus. If they are Hindus, they should realize the pathetic condition of Hindus and show their being Hindus through their acts.”
