Hindutvavadis from Mumbai demand firm stand by the Govt. against ban
Mumbai : Representations were submitted on behalf of different festival committees to Mumbai (Suburbs) District Collector Shri. Shekhar Channe and Dy. District Collector Shri. Nitin Mahajan protesting against likely ban on Sanatan Sanstha. Office bearers of festival committees viz. Tamil Sangh, Shambho-Sai Brahmandev Ganeshotsav Mandal, Akhil Kelkar wadi Rahivasi Seva Sangh, Balveer Sports Club Vyayam Mandal and Hindu Nava-varsha Swagat Yatra Samiti from Chembur; Shivakarya Pratishthan, Shiva-Shankar Seva Mandal, Shri. Ganesh Seva Mandal and Saraswati Mahila Mandal from Mankhurd; Sindhu-durga Zilha Utkarsh Samiti and Akhil Bhat wadi Sarvajanik Utsav Mandal from Ghatkopar; Veer Sambhaji Bhaaji Market Vyapar Sanghatana, Jai Maharashtra Society Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal and Swami Berojagar Seva Sahakari Sanstha from Bhandup; Jai Bhavani Unnati Mandal from Gowandi etc. were present along with Shiv Sena’s Dy. Area Chief Shri. Avinash Pawar from Chembur; its dy. leader Shri. Dasharath Shirke, from Bhat wadi; its Shakha-Chief Shri. Vilas Pawar from Ghatkopar and activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Sanatan seekers were present on the occasion. All Hindutvavadis demanded while submitting the representations that the Government should take firm stand against likely ban on patriotic organisation like Sanatan Sanstha.
