Representation submitted by HJS
Dhule : We will consider suggestions given by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and take care that crackers with pictures of Deities are not sold, promised Dy. District Collector Shri. Tukaram Hulawale of Dhule to HJS. On 30th October, a representation was submitted to Shri. Hulawale on behalf of HJS demanding prevention of desecration of Deities and national leaders taking place through crackers. Shri. Sagar Chaudhary of BJP said, “The District Administration should prevent sale of crackers with pictures of Deities and national leaders and honour our religious sentiments so that there would be congenial atmosphere. Shri. Pankaj Bagul of HJS said that hurting religious sentiments by desecration of Deities and national leaders through crackers is a non-bailable crime under Indian Penal Code. Every citizen of this country has freedom to follow his religion under Indian Constitution and it is the duty of Government to protect this right.
Dr. Yogesh Patil of ‘Yoga Vedanta Seva Samiti’, Shri. Parag Ahire of ‘Vishwakarma’ community, Shri. Rajendra Wagh of ‘Manamad Gin Mitra Mandal’, Shri. Bhagavan Chavan of Sanatan Sanstha were present on the occasion.
Highlights
1. Dy. district Collector Shri. Tukaram Hulwale immediately called up to give instructions for incorporating suggestions made by HJS in the order to be issued to vendors.
2. There were 15 reporters in District Collector’s office to cover the news and offered to help in the drive for Dharmakarya.
