Phaltan (Maharashtra): Anti-national and anti-Hindu movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ was being screened at Rajvaibhav Chitramandir. However  the show was cancelled following the efforts of pro-Hindus. (Congratulations to pro-Hindus of Phaltan who have collectively acted against the insult to the seats of Hindu faith! Hindus, express gratitude at the feet of God for this success! – Editor)

The  pro-Hindus met the owner of the theatre Shri Bharat Bedke . They explained him about the denigration of Lord Ram and depiction of Bharatiyas in poor light in the movie. The screening of the movie was also stopped in the theatres of Satara and Karad. Shri Bedke was convinced by the explanation and he immediately decided to stop the screening of the movie. The pro-Hindus then congratulated him on this gesture. The Dharmabhimanis present on this occasion were Shri Vikas Raut, District Chief of Shiv Sena ,MHADA area; Shri Vitthal Gaikawad, Taluka Chief of Phaltan; Deputy Chiefs Shri Dashrath Changan and Shri Shambhuraj Khalate;Shri Sachin Bidve ,  City Chief of Phaltan;Shri Popat Barge, Deputy Chief;Shri  Sanjay Shrikhande of RSS and Shri Ashish Phanse of Sanatan Sanstha.
