Police refusing to permit proclamation reasoning on the basis of Law and Order

Dombivli (Maharashtra): Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) had asked permission from the police by submitting an application to protest constitutionally against the film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ denigrating Lord Sriram and Bharat; but police from the Police Station at Dombivli refused permission to Shri. Ajay Sambhus and Shri. Hari Prabhu of HJS by serving a notice on the basis of Indian Penal Code, section 149.

Earlier at Ghatkopar too police had refused HJS to agitate constitutionally reasoning about the imposition of ban at Vashi. (Police officers restrain the Samiti wishing to agitate constitutionally at every place. – Editor) Yet Samiti is trying to get the said permission from the senior officers.
