Farmers, don’t send cows for slaughtering: Goraksha Samaj

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Farmers , even if they are unable to maintain, should not sell their cows to traders since such cows are invariably sent to slaughter houses. Shri Shamrao Babar, founder president of Sree Gopal Gowardhan Goushala made an appeal to farmers, on behalf of Akhil Bharatiya Goraksha Samaj, for not sending cows for slaughtering. The organization stopped the cattle on their way to Deonar slaughter house and was sent away to its Goushala at Kalewadi, Mohol (Dist. Solapur). Shri. Babar was speaking on that occasion. He said that cow slughtering has to be stopped all over the country, else it would be dificult to find a cow even for worshipping. He also warned that members of his organization would start agitation if they find cows being taken for slaughtering.
