HJS organizes Photo-exhibition on Terrorism

126th birth anniversary of the great revolutionary Vasudev Balawant Phadake

Panvel (Maharashtra): At Shirdhon, the birth place of great revolutionary Vasudev Balawant Phadake, photo-exhibition, devised by ‘FACT’, on oppression of Hindus in Kashmir and Bangladesh was held on the occasion of his 126th birth anniversary. Hundreds of devout Hindus visited the exhibition. A lecture was also held on ‘Attacks on Hindu Dharma and Revolutionaries’ at 9.00 pm. which was delivered by Shri. Shriram Kane, district-coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Raigad. Inauguration of photo-exhibition and unveiling of the statue of the great revolutionary Vasudev Balawant Phadake took place in the afternoon at 4.00 p.m. A building constructed in the memory of the great revolutionary was also inaugurated. The function was attended by S/Shri. Vivek Patil, MLA, Jayant Patil, MLA, president of Zilha Parishad and many eminent personalities. A proposal was made to name the Panvel railway station after the great revolutionary as ‘Great Revolutionary Vasudev Balawant Phadake Railway Station’ and to renovate his house. It was decided to follow up the matter with the State Government. Shri. Jayant Patil, MLA said,"I have recently paid a visit to Sanatan Sanstha’s ashram at Panvel. The ashram has undertaken very commendable projects. I do have few ideological differences with them but I respect seekers of Sanatan who are sincerely and devotedly carrying out their work." Shri. Patil also praised the ‘Bodha-chitra’ published in ‘Sanatan Prabhat’, which said that ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’, the slogan popularised by the former Prime Minister Shri. Lal Bahadur Shastri has, in reality, become ‘Mar (Die) Jawan mar (Die) Kisan’. 

Photo-exhibition on terrorism was held in mammoth gathering of Hindus in Nagpur

Nagpur (Maharashtra):  At the mammoth gathering of Hindus organized at Nagpur, photo-exhibition, devised by ‘FACT’ was held on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). Many devout Hindus, including Pujyapaad Jitendranathji Maharaj of Devnath mutt, Anjangaon Surji, Dist. Amaravati and H. H. Swami Vishnuswarupananda Saraswati, Vyaaspithacharya from Rhishikesh paid a visit to the exhibition. Pujyapaad Jitendranathji Maharaj said, "The existence of our country, Dharma and culture is in danger. Our motherland is also unhappy. Denigration of our deities is taking place everywhere. All of us must, therefore, unite for their protection." H. H. Swami Vishnuswarupananda Saraswati also guided the meeting on ‘Nation and Dharma’.
