Wrong history is being taught to the future generations!

Falgun Krushna Dvitiya

Pune: Pujya Sunil Chincholkar, a senior devotee of Swami Samartha addressed a mammoth ‘Dharma-sabha’ organized on behalf of Shiva-Samartha Pratishthan at Anandnagar on Sun-city Road. He stated that  wrong history is being taught to the future generations of this country. In N.C.E.R.T History text book, history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is covered in only one page, that of Peshava rulers in 4 lines whereas whole book is devoted for Mughal invasions. Not a single photograph of Chhatrapati has been published in the book. As a result, the founder of Hindavi Swaraj has been depicted as secular. Shri. Ranajit Natu, Mahanagar – mantri of VHP for Pune, Shri. Deepak Nagpure, president of Pratishthan also attended the ‘Dharma-sabha’.

Pujya Sunil Chincholkar mentioned that rulers will stop groveling before Muslims and Christians only when their right to vote is withdrawn. In N.C.E.R.T there is distortion of life-history of Shiva Chhatrapati creating rift between Brahmins- Non Brahmins. It is therefore, necessary to first study the life-history of Shiva Chhatrapati. On forthcoming elections, Shri. Chincholkar said that Hindus need to create their vote banks. We need to teach a lesson, through these elections, to all those representatives elected earlier who are supporting anti-Superstitions Act.
