Pujan performed at Kshipra’s origin to neutralize adverse effects of Guru Chandal Yog

Ujjain : President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad (ABAP) Narenda Giri, general secretary Hari Giri along with the chiefs of 13 Akhadas on Thursday performed Pujan of Kshipra River at its origin at Ujjayini village for hassle-free and smooth organization of Simhastha Fair-2016. They offered milk, red chunari and pujan material to Holy River and prayed for successful conduct of grand religious congregation.

On the occasion, ABAP president Narendra Giri welcomed people with open heart for participating in the Simhastha Fair-2016 and brushed aside chances of any kind of misfortune due to falling of fair in Guru Chandal Yog. While talking to pressmen Narendra Giri said, “96 years ago Simhastha had fallen in Guru Chandal Yog and that time some mishap had occurred, therefore, we performed our first pujan at the origin point of river Kshipra to neutralize inopportune effects of the Yog.”

Saint also appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and said he is the only CM who invited chiefs of every Akhada by visiting in their camps. After performing Pujan at the origin of river, all saints also paid obeisance at the temples of Kewadeshwar Mahadev and Mahakaleshwar. More than 50 saints of 13 Akhadas including Maheshwar Das of Bada Udasin and Maha Mandleshewar of Annapurna Aashram Vishveshwaranand and others were present on the occasion.   Divisional Commissioner Ravindra Pastor and Collector Kavindra Kiyawat participated in the Pujan with saints.
