Ludhiana (Punjab): Local Hindus beat up Christians who were trying to convert a poor Hindu from Jamalpur in the local church. (Congratulations to Hindus for foiling the plan of conversion. As per this news, a poor Hindu person was being forcibly converted in a church in Jamalpur. The mother of the person threatened that if he was converted, she would set herself on fire. The enraged local Hindus therefore, went to the church and beat up the Christians. There was fight among both the groups.
Shri. Harish Kumar, Police Superintendent, Shri. Harjindar Singh, the city police superintendent and Shri. Harmohan Singh, Dy. Superintendent visited the area on learning about the incident and brought the situation under control.
