Sangali (Maharashtra): The focal point of all writings by Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar was national welfare. His poetry was full of patriotism and gallantry. There was heroism in his poetry that has great flight which cuts even the sky. His poetry demonstrates his unyielding will power that inspires people even today. The above views were expressed by Bhagavatacharya V. N. Utpat.

A conference was organized on the literature of Sawarkar at Krantiveer Babarao Savarkar Memorial Ground that awakened Hinduism in the members of audience. Bhagavatacharya Utpat brought out various aspects of poetry penned by Savarkar and poetry by National poet Azad helped in keeping the flow of patriotism flowing all the time during the conference. There were also lectures by Shri. Ganesh Vadavekar from Bhusaval, Aparna Ramteerthakar, a legal expert from Solapur, discussions on the need for Sawarkar’s literature in present context and a speech on the topic ‘If Savarkar was alive today …….’ by Adv. Sharad Bansode. The program ended with ‘Matruvandan’.

Shri. Patil  talked about activities of  HJS in brief. The program was attended by Shri. Bhagawanrao Salunkhe and Chandrakantdada Patil so also fans of Sawarkar from Ichalkaranji, Rajapur, Pune etc. attended the program.
