Inquiries about the atrocities on Kashmiri Hindus should be made through a judicial tribunal

New Delhi : A demand to hold an inquiry through a judicial tribunal with regard to the atrocities on Kashmiri Hindus, was made in the Hindu Youth gathering organised on Homeland Day of Kashamiri Hindus on 27th December .

On the occasion of the 26th (24th check) Homeland Day of Kashamiri Hindus, an International Hindu Youth gathering was organised on the eve of the Homeland Day by the Youth for Panoon Kashmir at Satyasai auditorium on 28th December (Pl. check the date.) The above demand was made unanimously by the Hindus present in the programme passing a resolution. This is the second year of this kind of gathering. This is a branch of Youth for Panoon Kashamir (Our Kashmir). Mr. Manjit Singh the president of the Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee was the chief guest of the function. The function commenced with ‘Sharada vandana’, Thereafter inauguration ceremony was held. Later a short film based on the atrocities on Kashmiri Pundits was shown. There was a discussion on how to make Homeland financially strong. Many experts, scholars, writers and dignitaries from various other fields narrated the history of Kashmiri Hindus, gave expression to present and future times and stated that Homeland was a very effective path for their rehabilitation.

Resolutions passed –

  1. To consider the atrocities on Kashmiri Hindus be treated in the category of annihilation of the race.
  2. Kashimri Hindus to be rehabilitated in the land governed by the Central Government.
  3. Kashmir has been included as a part of Bharat and there will not be any alteration.
  4. An inquiry tribunal /Commission should be established to take legal actions against those responsible for meting out atrocities on Kashmiri Hindus.

What is Homeland ?

Kashmiri Hindus had demanded a separate land in the Kashmir valley on 28th December 1991 and that same was called Panoon Kashmir. It was demanded that the Central Government should take the possession of the land as per the Constitution and should govern it. Since then this day is celebrated by Kashmiri Hindus as the homeland Day all over the world.
