Chaitra Shuddha Dashami
Pusad (Maharashtra): “Ask 3 questions to those who ask for your votes. First, whether they believe in existence of Sree Rama, if they do, they should convey it to their ‘Madam’; secondly, do they say ‘Ram-naam Satya Hai’ in funeral procession and thirdly, do they have courage to remove the words ‘Hey Rama’ from the mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi.” The above appeal has been made by Shri. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for the State of Maharashtra in a mammoth gathering organised on the occasion of Sreeram Navami on a school ground in Pusad. He was talking on the topic ‘Hindu unity and Ram Navami’. Shri. Madan Sawant, a prasar-sevak of Sanatan Sanstha also addressed the gathering. The gathering had about 5000 Hindus.
Shri. Ramesh Shinde, HJS giving speech to Hindus |
The program began with offering garlands to the pictures of Bharatmata and Sree Rama by the speakers. Shri. Ramesh Shinde said further that there is a saying that God destroyed evils during His every incarnation and will do so even in future. The evils in present times are different. God will do what He has to do but we should know what we are required to do. Holy scriptures like Mahabharata, Ramayana, Bhagavat Geeta give only one message. All Gods have weapons in their hands which they used to destroy enemy. But today, it has become a crime to talk in favour of Hindus. Varun Gandhi was charged under NSA. It shows how difficult it is to talk in favour of Hindus; but Hindus have got used to it. You apply any law like NSA, MOCCA or POTA but now, we are going to talk. Those, who attack Hindus, are pampered. It is therefore, necessary for Hindus to be alert and unite.
In Pakistan, it is shown on TV where in India, bomb blasts are to be carried out; but here, we are busy in watching family and social serials. Women squads have been prepared to kill us as we are ‘kafirs’. We must see that we also become capable to protect Hindu nation. Nobody should be able to cast an evil eye on this country. We must protect this country, Dharma and Culture. Shri. Shinde said that 150 years before incarnation of Sree Rama, it was written about birth of Rama and now, there is dispute over ‘Ram-setu’. It was said that Rama never existed, then it was said that Sree Rama drowned the ‘Ram-setu’ while he was returning from Lanka. Rama is not a fictitious character. We have names of persons from 52 generations in the family of Sree Rama. We have invented aeroplanes thousands of years back but the credit is given to western scientists.”
Shri. Madan Sawant, Sanatan Sanstha giving speech |
Shri. Madan Sawant said in his address that the conversion problem has taken a serious mode. We should be able to tell those who come for conversion that we revere our 33 crore deities but they crucified their God. Today, people have no respect towards their Dharma, there is denigration of our culture. We should follow the path shown by our Dharma. There is science behind every action. We should follow things prescribed in Dharma like applying ‘tila’ on forehead, offer obeisance before we start eating, greet everyone with ‘namaskar’ etc. Let others know that we are Hindus. Have faith on rituals. Give importance to the rituals rather than lavish food served during wedding ceremonies. Today, we keep watching serials on TV in the evening instead of teaching ‘Shubham Karoti’ to our children. There is a ploy to destroy our greatest Hindu Dharma. Pressure tactics are applied to prevent people from worshipping Sree Rama. Hindus should come together and learn to respect their Dharma. In fact, it should so much permeate in our blood that the colour of blood becomes saffron. We must take an oath that we shall protect our Dharma whether others join us or not.
