HJS lodges complaint with Charity Commissioner against charitable hospitals disregarding Govt schemes

Sangli : Charitable hospitals get grants and concessions from the Government for offering free treatment to the poor and weak sections of society and these hospitals are required to offer such free treatment or treatment at concessional rates to patients below poverty line and keep certain no. of beds reserved for them. Some charitable hospitals are, however, not following these rules and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) along with like-minded organizations has started a movement against such charitable hospitals. Under this movement, a representation was submitted to assistant Charity Commissioner Rakesh Pardeshi on 5thMay against ‘Loknete Rajarambapu Patil Hospital Research Centre’, Ishwarpur for not displaying required information on notice boards.

Shri. Nitin Shinde, the Convener of ‘Shiva-pratap-bhoomi Mukti Andolan Samiti’ and former MLA, Shri. Dharmendra (Aba) Koli, District-President of Shiv Sena Vahatuk Sena, Shiv Sena’s Shri. Maheshsingh Rajput, Shri. Mahadev Anure, Kum. Pratibha Tavare, Shri. Santosh Desai and Shri. Dattatreya Retharekar of HJS were present on the occasion.
