From Editor’s Desk: Dharmashala to be changed to Rashtra

Chaitra Krushna Trayodashi

1500 thousand million dollars Bharatiya wealth lies in foreign banks. This amount is 15 times the debt that we have incurred from foreign countries. If this money be brought to Bharat, we would be able to pay off the debt fully within no time If we invest the remaining amount in good projects then the interest that we would get on that would be more than the central budget. The questions remains that when there are about some millions of people who are not even able to get 2 meals per day, why did some people feel like hiding the money that they got in foreign countries instead of spending it for their poor and deserving brothers? When British had left Bharat, the rule was in our hands; but people not conditioned to feel that the country belonged to us Bharatiyas. The freedom fighters in the freedom struggle have an aim that when the country is free the ruling government and the subject would come close to one another, they would have friendly relations and both would strive for the welfare of the country. After Independence the freedom fighters assume the state of nation builders. Unfortunately we never got any nation builders. We had ‘Mahatma’, Prime Minister. Mahatma Gandhi, known as ‘Mahatma’ all over the world, was active since 1920. He was more interested in Muslim independence rather than that of Bharat. He felt that the Muslims who were trying to establish Islam in Bharat since thousand years should be given the best part of our land as a reward. Hindus too sacrificed to fulfill ‘Mahatma’s’ wish. They got Pakistan. Nehru continued to give whatever the Muslims went on demanding later by depriving Hindus. He did not realize while wasting the national wealth this way that he had to build the nation. As a result Bharat turned into a Dharmashala. Now we have to establish a nation (Rashtra) in place of Dharmashala; so no one should vote for Congress culture. – Sughosh
