Priyanka Vadhera, great grand-daughter of Nehru said in a meeting held for canvassing of party’s candidate in Bhojpur village in Raybarreily constituency for the 15th Parliamentary elections, “Do not treat us as Gods. Do not worship us. We are your servitors. When the idea of politicians being servitors sinks in people, importance of moral values in politics will be understood. In today’s politics, personality cult has gained lot of significance which should be brought down. Politics is not a business but a service to people.”

Priyanka said a lot of things; but it has been our experience that whatever is said by persons from Nehru family in public, they mean exactly the opposite. Priyanka wants to say that Indians must be loyal and grateful to Nehru family and serve them all their lives. India should accept that Only Nehru family has the right to rule over this country. ‘Nehru’, these alphabets denote divinity. ‘India’, these alphabets indicate servitude. India served Mughals; followed with the British and now, she is serving Nehru family. This is destiny.

Priyanka is quite young not only in age but also in understanding and therefore, Indians must try to make her realize that it is neither the destiny of India to serve Nehru family nor in its destiny that Nehru family should shape future of India. There are many people born to Indian mothers in this country, who are capable of moulding India into a beautiful country with bright and powerful future. Views of Nehru family have always been ambiguous when it came to language, Dharma, culture and over all character.

Whatever little part they took in fight for freedom of this country, they have managed to extract more than 100 % compared to their sacrifice. Their every generation, wants to hold the post of prime minister and therefore, they should be told that they have not followed ‘Raj-Dharma’. They gave more importance to their whims and fancies rather than the welfare of people of this country. To satisfy his whim, Nehru gave one-third of Kashmir to Pakistan, Indira Gandhi imposed emergency to safeguard her seat and put everyone behind bars irrespective of their standing or age or its consequences. It was the gravest mistake of independent India to choose Rajiv Gabdhi as the prime minister.

Time has now come to advise them that taking respite by members of Nehru family would be a great service to India. They have any way, accumulated so much of wealth that their future 10 generations can manage without doing anything. At least now, do some introspection and take atonement.
