From Editor’s Desk: Afzal and the President

President Sou. Pratibha Devising Shekhavat Patil paid an official visit to Spain and Poland recently. It appeared that Spain has soft corner for Bharat. There were many structures in Poland in which Jews suffered tortures by Germany that is by Hitler about 6o years back. In these structures there were arrangements made for torture in various ways. There are still some symbolic monuments there in Poland. When the President saw them she was very much disturbed and she prayed to God for not letting anyone suffer like that. If any journalist having balanced mind, secular and devoted to the country like the devotee Pundalik, had joined the tour with the President then his reactions would have been worth studying, while visiting those places. First attack of Islam on Bharat and Spain had taken place in the year 711. Spain turned it down in the 15th century. The King of Spain, Ferdinand passed an order, “Those among the Christians were converted as Muslims should regain Christianity and return home. Those who do not wish to do so would be sent out of the country or may be punished as traitors” As a result Spain resumed Christianity. Today Spain is not scared of any Muslim problems. Converted Hindus by Muslims were crying very much to get themselves reconverted as Hindus; but we never heard them. We never realized that due conversion nationality changes. German officers who had tortured Jews took refuge in various countries after the defeat in the 2nd World War; but Israel found them out keeping watch on them for 20-25 years by going to those countries of their refuge. They were brought before the court and were punished after the trial. They had to take revenge like this to maintain authority on the enemy as is the principle of Israel for maintaining peace. After the partition of Bharat the Muslim gundas tortured innocent Hindus very severely and extraordinarily. Kill, rape, loot and burn was Muslim League’s four fold policy. None of the authors but P.B. Bhave felt like writing anything on a subject like this. Congress had made it customary that Hindus should not show that they were angry with the Muslims for their inhuman atrocities in order to retain the possibility of unity among Hindus and Muslims and hence the issue of torture due to partition suppressed. Since Congress is habituated to suppress the atrocities upon Hindus Afzal’s death sentence is getting postponed. – Sharsandhan by Sughosh
