Desecration of ‘Shakti-peetha’ in Shahapur

Vaishkh Shuddha Navmi

Shahapur (Maharashtra):  Some unknown persons desecrated ‘Shakti-peetha’ in Gamdevi temple from Gotheghar area in Shahapur taluka. This erupted tension in the area for a while. (Hindus should realize that creating tension does not serve any purpose; try to  fight in lawful manner against all those responsible for desecration of your objects of worship. Further, do not rely on anti-Hindu Congress and their police  and get ready to protect your temples! – Editor)

The devotees went to the temple for evening ‘aarati’ as usual when they found that the ‘Shakti-peetha’ was sabotaged. All devotees and natives gathered near the temple and expressed their anger.
