Vaishkh Shuddha Navmi
Shahapur (Maharashtra): Some unknown persons desecrated ‘Shakti-peetha’ in Gamdevi temple from Gotheghar area in Shahapur taluka. This erupted tension in the area for a while. (Hindus should realize that creating tension does not serve any purpose; try to fight in lawful manner against all those responsible for desecration of your objects of worship. The devotees went to the temple for evening ‘aarati’ as usual when they found that the ‘Shakti-peetha’ was sabotaged. All devotees and natives gathered near the temple and expressed their anger.
