Satara (Maharashtra): Deities’ pictures (on paper) were put on the wall of the staircase of Varsha Engineering Academy at Visava Naka, to dissuade people from spitting. Shri. Prashant Bhore, activist of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) explained to the Director of the Academy, Sou. Varsha Dhumal how the Deities were ridiculed by those pictures in wrong place for wrong purpose. (O, proud Hindus!
